About
``GO CONFIDENTLY IN THE DIRECTION OF YOUR DREAMS.`` -HENRY DAVID THOREAU
Moving to the U.S. as a first-generation student taught me resilience, adaptability, and curiosity. As a child, I enjoyed storytelling and visualized my work. I enjoy learning and taught myself Photoshop via experimentation.
Why marketing? I often found myself observing how stores arranged layouts and how people behaved. Thinking of ways to market products, services, and ideas are exciting. I also am fascinated by brand collaborations like Animal Crossing x ColourPop and Disney x Loungefly; they study their target markets, strategize, and implement tactics. Brand loyalty is rad. Marketing is everywhere, but it performs best when it means something to your audience.
Why technical writing? I write tutorials for fun. I like to make things easier for others to navigate. I like to analyze UX writing when I visit websites. I’m always conducting grammar checks in every group project; consistency is key. I love checking out how companies develop their brand voice; it’s great to watch people interact with brands. I’m an Oxford comma supporter. I adjust my writing depending on the target market’s level of expertise.
In my free time, I enjoy studying advertising campaigns, getting involved on-campus, and finding the best Peruvian restaurant in the Bay Area.
